Crittenden EMS provides transfer and transport options, including quality emergency and non-emergency treatment and transport services to all adult, pediatric, neonatal, adolescent, obstetric, and geriatric patients within the service area. Their primary objective is to not only meet, but exceed the transport and treatment requirements of our patients in an economical, effective and professional manner. Crittenden EMS Ambulances include both intermediate and advanced life support equipment, which allows personnel to perform such activities as cardiac monitoring and defibrillation, cardiac medications, advanced airway techniques, and intravenous therapies. Also personnel trained for, and ambulances are equipped for advanced immobilization, treatment and transport of the sick and injured.
Certification include: Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support, EMT, EMT - 1st Responders, Basic Trauma Life Support, Pediatric & Neonatal Life Support instructors. In addition the department is active in preventive health care through health fairs, school presentations, blood pressure clinics and other public education forums.
